Audience Engagement

Beyond the Stage

After selected performances, audiences will have the chance to find out more about the productions. In the moderated discursive format “Beyond the Stage”, artists will offer insights into the processes behind the works, into their creative practice more broadly, and into their passions in life beyond the stage. The audience will also be invited to ask their own questions.

All talks will be in English, with the exception of Sea of Silence (English with Spanish translation) and The Voice (German with German Sign Language).

We are looking forward to this exchange with you!

Book Launch

Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods
“Let’s Not Get Used to This Place”

Edited by Astrid Kaminski, Jeroen Versteele, Julie De Meester
Graphic design Sean Yendrys

Since the early nineties, Meg Stuart and her company Damaged Goods have produced a remarkable body of work. After the publication “Are we here yet?” (2010), they now present a second book: “Let’s Not Get Used to This Place”, co-produced by HAU Hebbel am Ufer. Looking back on more than a decade of works, this publication gives a sense of the plentitude of motions and inspirations that energise Meg Stuart’s creative cosmos. Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Damaged Goods, its publication is a fitting celebration. We are glad to invite you to the launch of “Let’s Not Get Used to This Place”, during which Meg Stuart and guests will bring the book to life.
